Second venture

And this time it's different. All of it. Perceptions change; I wouldn't say mature, because it's only a mere transition in the way I perceive. The sky would've been prettier with a few more evangelines to brighten hopes.  The concrete makes it banal. The lights are like sugar candy, making it specious. All that remain here are memories as dark as Erebus.  Look up and you'll know what's true. Beyond it all awaits a mystery; manna to the soul.
